About Panda
Our History
In 1997, former preschool teacher and Psychologist Ms. Hala Zakaria bought an existing daycare,
Panda Playschool, in Choueifat, Lebanon. Since then Panda Playschool has been in continuous growth.
Ms. Hala felt ready to expand the school even further especially during the Covid – 19 pandemic.
Her choices included adding an elementary school program where she started with grades 1 and 2.
Opening a second branch, or franchising her concept might be a necessity in the near future.
In addition to Panda Playschool, Ms. Hala purchased a piece of land in the Metn area in 2009 and established Panda Park.
It is an outdoor venue that offers a fully equipped outdoor playground, many picnic areas,
as well as food and beverages services for Panda Playschool families and friends.

Our Mission is to encourage children learn through play by providing a high quality education
and childcare services in a safe, respectful and inclusive environment that builds a foundation,
by well-trained and experienced teachers, for life-long learning.
Our Vision
Our vision at Panda Playschool is to provide children with a loving and compassionate atmosphere
that promotes their happiness and well – being; as well as to develop a community where all children feel safe,
loved and respected.
It is our philosophy that early childhood should be a time of warmth, security, love and fun
as well as exploration and discovery.
Our Goal
Our goal is to encourage children’s social, emotional, physical as well as
intellectual growth and development.
Our Curriculum
Our teaching methods are learning centers and cooperative learning.
We use the integration method.
We work in groups where children learn through play.
Our curriculum is inspired by Reggio Emilia and customized to meet the needs of our children and our community.
